Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova is a Russian former professional tennis player as well as an American television personality. Anna Kournikova is an ex tennis star in Russia who was for a short period of her time the largest female athlete in tennis. Kournikova, a modestly talented singles tennis player was an incredibly successful doubles athlete. The team she was in along with Martina Hingis received widespread praise due to the efficacy of their collaboration. Her fashion and modeling made her famous worldwide. It is still one of the best athletes that are searched by the internet. Kournikova was a typical modern baseliner who moved the ball throughout the court at a high speed and spin. She was well-known for her tough returns and strong groundstrokes. Kournikova's parents, both professionally-trained athletes themselves have been born in Moscow. Sergei Kournikov was the winner of the wrestling championships while Alla Kournikova was a runner. Kournikova first started playing tennis at the age of five. Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova was born on July 7, 1980 in Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She was a former Russian professional tennis player. She first made her appearance in professional tennis at the young age of 14 and was the youngest player ever to play and winning the Fed Cup for Russia. She made it to the U.S Open when she was only 15 year old and aged 16 was able to make it up to the semi-finals of Wimbledon. Then she had to stop playing professional tennis because of back pain in the age of 21.
